libgetopt-argvfile-perl software package provides Perl module for reading script options and parameters from files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgetopt-argvfile-perl
libgetopt-argvfile-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgetopt-argvfile-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgetopt-argvfile-perl *
You will get with libgetopt-argvfile-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
